I love, love the photo of Archer rocking out on the drums with Fable, his side-kick, on the xylophone. ;o) So precious. Especially in black & white. And that photo of you and Hal is awesome.

I have been reading your blog off and on (sorry 'bout the "off" part) for almost a year now. I've been meaning to buy your book. I wanna be YOU when I get young. I am old (41), live in E Texas, have 4 kids of my own and 4 step kids. I am married to a wonderful man (who has WAY more hair than your husband--but yours is SEXY, too). I am low maintaince, you seem high-ish. But I feel a connection. Or a yearning. I wanna be YOU when I grow young.

I discovered your blog in 2009 and it definitely made the year better. Your fabulous writing, honest and no holds barred, made it a great year. I have to admit I had a HUGE baby crush on Fable. Watching her and Archer grow through your wonderful pics and your posts was a delightful bonus to my year.
