Reverie came home Sunday and Boheme came home today.
All of us are very happy campers.

I just found your blog a couple months ago and was immediately smitten with the fam, your story, and the way your words grace artfully across the page. Also, you have proooobably seen this, as it's a pretty famous twin picture, but I found it yesterday and immediately thought of you, and your lovely girls. The picture of Archer with his little sisters made me teary-eyed! What lucky little sisters (all of them) to have such a loving big brother. THIS is why I wanted my parents to adopt me an OLDER brother. I was the oldest but I wanted a big brother so badly!

So happy you are all home together now! I am 30 weeks pregnant with twins and wondering...of course you wish your babies could have come home with you from the hospital but do you think the time they were in the hospital at least helped your body have time to rest and heal from your c-section moreso than if they were home with you and you were taking car of them around the clock? I'm just trying to prepare myself and thought that aspect may be a silver lining?!

Oh my Lord, those photos of Archer with the babies just made me cry all on their own! How lucky those girls are.
You have such a beautiful family. Archer's heart never ceases to amaze and inspire.
Just thought I'd mention this since it's what I do (though unfortunately far away in NYC)... you should check out an infant massage book/dvd. It's been shown to help premature babies gain weight and develop more quickly. And it's something easy to incorporate into your routine and to have the older kids help with.

3) I am so impressed you've managed to blog at all. I have sympathy for "real" bloggers, because I just have a simple run of the mill family blog, you know, one that's not producing income or anything like that, and I still find it hard to make time to update it for friends and family to view, even though it means a lot to me to keep up with it, because I really value recording memories. And I only have one 7 week old baby (and two older kids) to care for, not twins! Anyway, my hat's always off when bloggers like you, Dooce, DesignMom, etc. seem to keep up with posting in what I know to be one of the most hectic, sleep deprived times of life. So good job, and know that if you need to give yourself a break, it's okay. We'll all still be here when you pick up again.
